Location: Moncton, NB and surrounding areas.
Ages: 7-16
Skill Level: Beginner to Advanced
Resources: Computer Lab and Internet Connection

Description
This multimedia adventure is perfect for teachers wanting to better integrate technology in the classroom. Scratch offers the teacher an opportunity to embed the computer into everyday school activities related to a variety of curriculum topics.

Your students will think creatively and learn how to program their own stories, games, and animations, as well as how to share their creations on the web. With this drag-and-drop platform developed by MIT, they’ll play with sprites(objects like people, animals) and coding blocks to set a foundation of computational thinking, which is an essential skill in today’s technology driven world.
